| Senior High News Peer Ministry Training Peer Ministry takes what youth are most concerned about, their relationships, and redefines these relational interactions as a purposefilled ministry. It’s about being a friend to your friends. Listening, caring, laughing, celebrating, knowing God is in the midst. Loving, because God first loved us. Training has begun. Three Christ Lutheran High School students joined several more from Lutheran Churches in our region on Sunday and Monday, January 20-21 for the first retreat at Camp Crescendo in Lebanon Junction, Kentucky. Accompanied by Pastor Ron Poisel, Justin Schwarz, Jacque Burkhead and John Poisel, spent an evening learning, listening and singing. The Peer Ministry group will meet monthly until April. Cincinnati Zone The Senior High Youth will be in Cincinnati once again this year for Youth Encounter’s Zone on March 7-9. The Cincinnati Zone, a senior high school student retreat sponsored by Youth Encounter, is designed to help high school youth deepen their faith and grow in their walk with Jesus. This weekend is filled with music, worship, fellowship and learning.
